Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Campo, a business management platform operated by Campo Technologies ("Campo," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account, starting a free trial, or using any part of the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Campo is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform built for small service businesses — including lawn care, cleaning, handyman, personal training, tutoring, detailing, pet services, home repair, and many more. If your business schedules appointments, communicates with clients, and sends invoices, Campo is built for you. The Service includes:

2. Accounts and Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal authority to enter into these Terms on behalf of yourself or your business. You agree to provide accurate, current information when creating your account and to keep it up to date. You are responsible for all activity under your account and for maintaining the security of your login credentials. Notify us immediately at support@joincampo.com if you believe your account has been compromised.

3. Free Trial

14-day free trial. New accounts receive a 14-day free trial. No charge is made during the trial period. A valid credit or debit card is required to start.

Your card will be automatically charged the applicable subscription fee when the trial ends unless you cancel before that date. You may cancel at any time during the trial with no charge — see Section 4.4. Free trials are available to new customers only. We reserve the right to limit or revoke trial offers at our discretion to prevent abuse.

4. Subscriptions, Billing, and Cancellation

4.1 Subscription Plans

Campo offers two subscription tiers on monthly or annual billing:

Prices are in USD. We may update pricing with 30 days advance notice to your account email.

4.2 Billing

Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis. Monthly plans are charged each month; annual plans are charged as a single lump sum for the full year. Payment is processed securely through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on each renewal date until you cancel.

4.3 Promotional Codes and Discounts

Promotional codes may be applied at checkout. Discounts apply only to the billing period(s) specified at redemption and do not automatically carry forward to renewals unless otherwise stated.

4.4 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through Settings → Plan & Billing → Manage Subscription, or by contacting support@joincampo.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period and you retain full access until then. After the billing period ends, a 7-day grace period begins during which your data remains accessible. After the grace period expires, access is suspended and your data is retained for 30 days before permanent deletion.

4.5 Refunds

Subscription fees are generally non-refundable. If you believe you were charged in error, contact support@joincampo.com within 14 days of the charge and we will review your request in good faith.

4.6 Failed Payments

If a scheduled payment fails, we will retry the charge and notify you by email. Continued payment failure may result in suspension or termination of your account. Update your payment method anytime in Settings → Plan & Billing → Manage Subscription.

5. SMS Messaging

5.1 Program

The Campo Messaging Service enables businesses using Campo to send SMS messages to their clients for service-related communications including appointment reminders, scheduling updates, invoices, estimates, and follow-ups.

5.2 Client Consent

Business owners using Campo are responsible for obtaining proper consent from their clients before sending SMS messages. By submitting a phone number through a Magic Link or intake form, a client agrees to receive service-related messages from that specific business. Consent is not a condition of service.

5.3 Message Frequency and Content

Message frequency varies. Clients may receive up to 15 messages per month per business, including appointment reminders, scheduling updates, invoices, estimates, and service updates. Messages may be in English or Spanish based on client preference.

5.4 Opt-Out

Clients may opt out at any time by replying STOP. A single confirmation will be sent and no further messages will follow. Reply HELP for assistance, or contact support@joincampo.com.

5.5 Rates

Message and data rates may apply depending on your carrier plan. Campo does not charge separately for SMS messages sent through the platform.

5.6 Carrier Disclaimer

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Compatible with major US carriers including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, and others.

5.7 Business Owner Responsibility

Business owners are solely responsible for ensuring their SMS use complies with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), the CAN-SPAM Act, and all applicable laws and carrier guidelines. Campo provides the infrastructure; legal compliance is the business owner's responsibility.

6. AI Features

Campo uses artificial intelligence (powered by Anthropic's Claude API) to assist with: automatic client replies, English-Spanish translation, extracting job details from conversations, generating outreach messages, detecting revenue opportunities (Revenue Radar), and automated scheduling workflows. AI-generated content is provided as suggestions and may not always be accurate. You are responsible for reviewing all AI-generated content before sending and for all communications sent through the Service. Campo is not liable for errors or inaccuracies in AI output.

7. Client Data and Intake Forms

Campo allows you to collect client information through embeddable intake forms that can be hosted on your website, shared on social profiles, or sent directly to clients. You are the data controller for your clients' personal information. You are responsible for disclosing to clients how their information will be used, obtaining required consents, and complying with applicable privacy laws (including CCPA, TCPA, and applicable state regulations). Campo processes your clients' data solely on your behalf as a data processor. We do not use your clients' data for advertising or AI training.

You agree not to use the Service to:

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these policies, with or without prior notice.

9. Intellectual Property

The Service — including its design, source code, features, branding, and content — is owned by Campo Technologies and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You retain full ownership of your business data (clients, jobs, messages, invoices). You grant Campo a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to process and store your data solely to provide and improve the Service.

10. Third-Party Services

Campo integrates with Stripe (payments), Twilio (SMS), Anthropic (AI), Resend (email), Supabase (database), and Vercel (hosting). Your use of these integrations may also be subject to their respective terms of service. Campo is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or conduct of third-party services.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied — including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. Your use of the Service is at your sole risk.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Campo Technologies and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption — arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

Our total aggregate liability to you shall not exceed the greater of (a) $100 or (b) the total fees you paid to Campo in the 12 months preceding the claim.

13. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Campo Technologies and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses (including attorneys' fees) arising from: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any third-party rights; or (d) your obligations as data controller for your clients' information.

14. Termination

You may close your account at any time by canceling your subscription and contacting support@joincampo.com. We may suspend or terminate your account for material violation of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or non-payment. Data export requests must be submitted within 30 days of termination.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes, we will notify you by email and/or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, cancel your subscription before the effective date.

16. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally shall be settled by binding arbitration under the American Arbitration Association's Commercial Arbitration Rules. Either party may seek injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction for intellectual property violations or imminent irreparable harm.

Class Action Waiver: All claims must be brought on an individual basis. Class actions, collective actions, and representative proceedings are not permitted.
